1955 F100 Advise needed

OK, a friend put me onto a lady locally here in southern Nevada selling her husband's 1955 F100 (He passed one year ago.). The truck has been taken apart, so I went out to see it today.

Here is what I found:
--stock frame with 1979 Nevada title, title signed off
--cab, custom cab, with no rot, surface rust only in normal areas, no glass, extra radio hole in dash, stripped except for cowl vent and heater
--both doors, very nice, just dirt inside, one has hinges, glass broken, regulators inside, outside door handles and locks present, no inside handles.
--2 front fenders, good shape
--2 rear fenders, one has spare tire recess
--grill, stripped, no trim or lights or mounts
--front axle with springs and disc brake conversion (surface rust)
--Rear axle of unknown source, has removable 3rd member like ford 9", but center is bolted in with bolts, not studs and nuts as expected. ? No springs and only one spring mount welded onto it. Drum brakes
--one running board, nice with just one small dent

No hood, no wheels, no rear springs, no seat or interior, no engine/trans/drive shaft, no radiator, brake or clutch pedals

Seller firm at $500, buyer takes everything, not selling any parts, all or nothing.

So, OK, what are these parts really worth?

Thanks,

Walt

Not worth my trip from TN to Nevada but the value is there in parts if they are as you describe . I am not in the parts business, just trying to relay there is value there. Maybe one of the guys who deals in parts will make a quick calculation and weigh in. A rust free cab is worth the asking price. Area of the country has a lot to do with value.

It sounds like the beginnings of a really nice project. You could sell the parts and make a couple bucks, or be into a new truck for cheap.

If you don't want it I will drive down from Tahoe for it, I could use a lot of those parts.

Cab and doors outta be worth the $500 asking price. Front axle with disk brakes another couple hundred and everything else 75 to 100 bucks a pop.
Wish I was closer I'd like the frame, title and data plate. But like BigWin56f100 it's just too far a drive.
I agree it'd make a good entry level to a Iffy project.

I think the rear axle is an 8" Ford, but not sure really.

That's not a ford axle at all. I think it's Chrysler. Are the wheel lugs bolts, or studs with nuts?

That Axle has huge Drums. Looks like it would be pretty hard to put all the parts together. Especially if a person was just starting the Madness. may be better used as a parts truck.
