Possible Sensor Issue??? Help

I recently replaced my CAI with an after market CAI and a stock CAC and I had no Issues. I replaced my CAC and Intake Manifold Elbow and now i'm having issues. The parts should have only made better airflow not the issues im having so it leads me to believe I'm having a sensor issues.

I believe it would have to be one of the two sensors connected to the intake. But here is now what is going on. I'm building way too much boost and getting a lot of turbo chatter.

Before my truck would have to be going up hill at 55 mph to even make 15psi of boost... now on a level road is making 25psi boost at 30 mph and feels like its bogged down. When I let off the accelerator no matter how fast I'm going I have turbo chatter. It didn't do this yesterday but after having my intake apart and back together today it has started.

Anyone have any suggestions?

sounds to me like a stuck turbo...might be time to pull it to give er a good cleaning. Your not gonna want to hear this either, but the stock filter is probably the best thing for a stock setup...believe it or not but they got it right for this motor. The factory airfilter is a beast in its own.

That Stock filter was gone along time ago I just replaced an S&B. My thinking that it may not be a turbo issue is a few hours before pulling sensors and installing parts it was fine and made no noise then after having them disconnected this problem all the sudden comes up. Not sure if maybe a sensor got dirty in the process and is acting up or what. Gonna clean the MAF sensor today and see if that helps.

I understand that things changed after you swapped some parts around and yes it would be worth pulling sensors and giving them a clean (check the brass nipple on the intake manifold to see if it's plugged and the hose that goes from it to the map sensor for cracks or signs of leaks). Your 15psi of boost going up hill (I assume with your foot in it too) before was far from stellar to begin with...should have been closer to 25-28. Also consider getting a good obd scanner that can read live data, it takes a lot of guess work out of diagnosing these motors. Lots of threads on that subject.

Ive got my SCT but it only reads trouble codes and the isn't currently throwing any codes. But yes a better scanner would save me a lot of trouble.

Check the MAF sensor, its plugged into the intake. Check the EBP sensor that you didn't bump it or loosen the connector.

Pulled the MAF and cleaned it with MAF cleaner, checked the connection and even replaced the after market cac with the stock one to rule that out and it is still doing it. So that rules the CAC as being the cause out.

The EBP sensor is the only one that I haven't tried checking yet.
