Int. Wiper Fix
I checked the Wiper switch and all of its connections and I had zero voltage drop thru any of the connector but had zero out put coming out of the control module mounted right above the E-brake. So I dug int and removed it.
First I pulled the Headlamp switch and wiper switch out of the dash

Next I located the wiper control module, I am pointing to it with my handy dandy pocket screw driver

This module is held in with one screw

Thje screw is located just above the ebrake release handle

With that screw removed you can wiggle the control module out be careful not to pull to hard on any wires

Once it was out that far I was able to unplug it rather easily
Here it is out of the truck, notice the do not drop, well then Ford if you dont want it drop then why mount it on top of the ebrake assembly where it gets beat to hell

Next you remove two 7mm screws and that allows you to open up the box

Now closely inspect the board and check for broken solder joints here you can see I have three broken in a row

So I went ahead and resoldered them( I could not find the right tip for my good solder gun so I settle with the one I had herenot pretty but did not end up with a cold solder joint)

Now most would think ok I am done throw it in and wait for it the break again..... Nope not so fast.
I ordered up a MSD Ignition box mount kit which are cool little rubber mounts that isolate components from vibration. You can also use air cleaner mounts for an old mercedes like an 85 300D I didnt have any of those and I knew my local parts house had this MSD kit on the shelf. The kit cost 15 bucks but I got 4 mounts and only needed 1

Mount installed

Here is the box reinstalled if you look close you can see my rubber mount

Then just throw the switches back in and test it out. My wipers now function perfectly which was nice because I drove the truck 734 miles on saturday to Seattle and back and the rain was at times insane and other times just a light mist. But low and behold I had a wiper speed for every occasion
