Intermittent wiper control
Ok so yesterday I went to my JY to hunt an intermittent wiper control. I found one on an 81 Ranger, she was very cooperative.
I pulled mine out 82f150xlt. Swapped it in and it works except for the timer. If you turn counterclockwise from of the wipers cycle once and no more.
Does anyone know how to test or fix it? All other functions work fine. Thanks!!!

Can you hear the box clicking after the first pass of the wipers? No clicking would indicate a problem in the timer function, while clicking without the wipers moving would indicate bad contacts (corroded, most likely) inside the box.
If it does make the clicking noise, let it run for a bit at the fastest setting. Repeatedly attempting to make contact can clear away the corrosion in many cases.

Yes, hooked it up to a newly sanded spot on the bottom of the dash rail.
I haven't had a chance to pull it and test but I turned on the intermittent and and it will cycle, a long time between, and seemingly no adjustment of cycle speed.
