Another option for those that want a completely original look is to pull an original radio from your local salvage yard and have it refurbished.
I found the unit below for $7 and then sent it off to Gene Cochran in Nebraska (recommended by another FTE member) . He does old radio repair. He refurbed it, replaced the filters and installed an auxiliary jack for the fair price of $65 including shipping to and from. Here's is his contact info.

Now I can plug my iPhone/iPod into it and play through the radio. I don't have a picture of it installed but it worked out great.
