I just purchased a 2000 Ranger XL 4 cyl. but it didn't come with carpet only the vinyl flooring. I bought replacement carpet and was wondering if I needed any special glue or a mat to put under the carpet or any other suggestions to install the new carpet correctly. Thanks.
I've never noticed any glue holding down the carpets in any of the vehicles that I've owned. The only thing I have seen is a thin carpet pad under there.
It's probably one of those things that you will get a better feel for when you actually place the new carpet in there and see how snug it fits.
