Backup Camera Question

My backup camera (2013 KR) comes on in Neutral. Is this normal? Looks cool when going thru a car wash tho

I fooled around with it more last night. It seems if I go from R to N, the camera will stay on until I shift to D. Anyone else able to do that?

there is a setting to have the camera stay on longer once you shift out of R, even if into D IIFC

Not sure if mine does that. Once I get the camera fixed (waiting on the dealer) if I remember and nobody answers I will check back in.

I have mine set to stay on until you hit 5mph in D. There are some different settings.

In the owners manual does it say how to get to this setting?

I have the camera in the mirror.

You don't need an owner manual to figure it out. Just go to "Settings" in your instrument cluster menu and you'll see the choice for backup camera. I set mine to stay on until I reach 5 mph.

Oh, your gauge pod is different than my 2012. Maybe it is time to read the manual.
