Just got done plowing 4 out of 5 days 12" plus of snow, and temps were in mid 40`s yesterday so I decided to get the garden hose out and give the truck a good rinse underneath. That sucked, wet and cold. When I was done and hanging hose back up in garage, I noticed lawn sprinkler hanging there, anybody ever try this? Today I may throw the sprinkler under the truck for a while. It can`t hurt. I hate salt...
Yep, besides living in the Northeast and having to put up with salt during the winter, my wife and I Beach Camp. I deal with salt all year... and yes, after every second or third trip to the beach, I put my sprinkler (the old slow-arc type) under the truck and leave it in each of five spots for about 10 minutes, spraying in the length direction. It worked great on my '08 so I'll continue the policy with the new truck too.
I live in south Texas and I fluid filmed my truck. I head into snow country once or twice a year in snow season. I figure for the little time it takes to do Fluid Film, it is worth keeping the truck nice and clean underneath.
