Decided to make a "build thread" for my daily driver, bought this truck on 2-3-15.. It's a 1992 F-150 300 inline 6 with a 5spd, checking craigslist and local bone yards for a drivers door and fender... Then it's box time
The day I bought it
Got a lil bit of work ahead of me
Changed the oil and rear diff fluid today 2-7-15
Thinking it's the first time it's been changed
Not bad looking for having 150k miles, very lil shavings on the fill plug
Thanks Pat, I have a drivers side fender also, need to find a pass side and hood, I'll take some pics of the cab and post them to see what you think.. There is dents by the rear window on both sides, I hope it can be fixed.. After the body work is done id like to do the floor pans, then find a box.. So far I can find a nice one for cheap
I got the drivers door, fender from a local yard here in Iowa, and I think he has a nice hood and pass side fender, I'm getting my floor pans from LMC and the box I haven't found one yet
Debating on rather I should get the body work done first or the bag set up... I'm thinking I might get the bag set up done before I start the body work, since I can do the body work while I drive it, the bag set up should only take a few days, if planned out right before hand and have everything ready
