Class V hitch

Anyone know where I can find one with a 2" receiver?
And no, I do not want the Curt 15300 with the small 11.5" mounting.

I want the one that goes 18" on the frame

This is what I am looking for

Just bumping this up.

I forgot I had a Drawtite 41904 hitch from a truck I parted out. Class V. 10k pull and 12k with weight distributing. Also has a 2x2 receiver tube.

Gave it a quick grind down with a wire wheel and flap wheel and a coat of rustolium. I will redo it when I tear the truck down.

Nice work! That's like finding a $20 bill in last years' jacket!

Looks pretty strong (which makes me sad that I've never owned a truck that could ever make use of that hitch)

I scored one of those at the local scrap metal place about two years ago. $20 and some elbow grease and it looks great. Haven't gotten around to mounting it yet though.

FYI, Draw Tite will send you new decals for free if you email them with the hitch part number.

That's weird. I emailed a year ago and got them. Must have changed their policy or something.

Seems like their refusal to provide replacement stickers when requested could open them up to liability in the event of overloading.

No, that is up to the end use to find out what it is rated for. Not just load it up till it brakes then sue

Is there anything specifically wrong with the curt 15300, or is it just a preference?

It is WAY too short. It only bolts to 7" of the truck frame. The drawtite bolts to 18". The Curt is rated for more, but I really don't care if it was rated for 30k, it will never go on any of my truck that tow. They are just looking to bend a truck frame

Okay, I can respect that. I was just curious.

Are the safety chain loops far enough rearward?
