I scored one of those at the local scrap metal place about two years ago. $20 and some elbow grease and it looks great. Haven't gotten around to mounting it yet though.

Is there anything specifically wrong with the curt 15300, or is it just a preference?
It is WAY too short. It only bolts to 7" of the truck frame. The drawtite bolts to 18". The Curt is rated for more, but I really don't care if it was rated for 30k, it will never go on any of my truck that tow. They are just looking to bend a truck frame
