I went to Advance Auto and got a price with tax of $210.83 on 2 upper and 2 lower Moog ball joints!
I thought that was very high ? I went to Rockauto to get a price match on:
2-MOOG-K8611T Ball joints-$41.78 on Both Total
2-MOOG-K80196 Ball Joints-$41.98 on Both Total
Sub $83.76
Tax $5.45
Total before rebates $89.21
Advance Auto Speed Perks -$5.00
=$84.21
Moog mail in rebate! -$10.00
TOTAL$74.21
I saved $136.62 off retail with their price match and rebates! Thought I would share this with all of you ! Hope this helps
Those are good prices, especially for Moog. I've purchased quite a bit of Moog parts from Amazon, always free shipping on orders over $35. Great return/warranty policies too.
'Tis good to have so many great parts and outlets selling them these days---thanks for the heads up from Rockauto!
The manager was shocked at how low the price was on Moog Ball joints at Advance auto. Made my day when she price matched them!lol
That's hard to believe that Advance would do a price match with that much difference. Not saying it didn't happen for you
Advance has gotten really bad the last few years, purge there system every 2 years, so your "limited-lifetime-warranties" you need to dig back and find the receipts, I even have a 'contractor's' account with them, if you don't buy enough, they drop your special pricing........Fine, I'll go elsewhere then.
Auto Zone has me on there system for the past 12 years when I moved back this way, just swapped out a starter that I bought 6 years ago, no problem.
True,I like Rock Auto. Last week I got my new buddy a nice lunch to keep her on my side. She still says they will match any price except E-Bay and other auction sites.
