more efuel questions

i have my pump, my pre and post filers, fittings, clamps and all my fuel line i hope. my question is before i start doing all this what do i plug the hole in the valley from the mechanical pump and what if i just leave the mechanical pump would it blow apart? lol. im doing the tightwad mod for a regulator by the way.
