Getting Knocked Around
For some time I have had a knock combined with a miss. Mpg is fair at best, 14.5 in town, not towing, light foot. The sound is very similar to a video Tugly has posted.
However the sound continues while driving and appears somewhat as a miss. The sound also continues while decelerating, when the injectors turn off. I have heard and read various posts regarding a bad/failing injector and cups. Has anyone had an occurrence where the noise continues when the injectors are "off".
I have done the in tank mods and used a Wix 33405. The only part not completed was the pick up line between the tank and the new filter. The existing quick connector was not replaced. Didn't read until later that this was recommended. If this were an air related issue, would it continue during deceleration (injectors off)? Both UVCH have been replaced. All injectors have been unplugged one at a time with no clear results. All seem to have an effect on the idle.
I would like to do some upgrades but realize I need to solve problems before creating more.

It could be alittle of this and alittle of that combined. I would replace the quick connector on tank with hose and double clamp. Have you retorqued the injectors? And it would be helpful if you could get some data logging to see if it injector issues. Do you have any codes?
