If someone would tell me they were doing black on black like that I would be hesitant, thinking it wouldn't look to good. But after seeing that picture, I'm liking it.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks all put together now.

I stopped for a while due to the heat down here in Georgia but I have a couple of pics with the front completed. I started mocking up the bed and
Phosphate washing it to seal all the little crevices so rustdoesn’t start in the panel connections.

Next is the bed. I will work on it when I have time between all the grass cutting.

The truck is lowered several inches in the front and a few in the rear. I plan on two sets of wheels. One set will be stock with white walls for pictures. I already have two studios wanting to rent it for family pictures. The other set will be 22" chrome for riding the cruse nights and car shows. I hope the bed will put some weight in the back. Right now it is way to light for the posi-trac rear and motor.

I dropped it off at the tire shop yesterday and he told me to come look at it. I was floored at wheels looked on it. I told him to see if he could get just a little taller tire on it. From here it will go to the muffler shop tomorrow or Monday. Then I will send pictures of all of it. This has been a year long project.

Thanks Nicholas. I love the wheels but the tires need to be a little taller. I told the tire guy to change them out to a 3 inch tire wall not 1 inch. He is trying to buy it from me now. Here's a good question for folks, do you like working on these trucks or riding in them? I actually like them both about the same.

Hot Dog! that's looking awesome. I dig the big wheels. I could easily get another inch of height in the front tires and maybe a couple in the back

What size are your wheels? These are 20X7 fronts and 20X10 rear.

That is a good question. For me its the build. Thats what moves me. When this one is done, another will start. Probably something completely different. Building the same thing over and over is boring for me. I want to do a 56 Porsche next I think.

Driving, showing and all that is super fun. But I like the building best.

they are 245/45 19s front and rear. They are take off rims from a 2014 mustang, the rims are either 9 or 9.5 inches wide.

If I were to buy new I would get what you got, but I might go with a wider front.

I am using a volare front suspension, with 2 inch spacers on the front. and a lincoln mark vii rear with no spacers It does not fill the tubs but they are needed.

And its a toss up on the driving versus building. this is my first restomod type setup. It should drive nice, have a good stereo and ac so I hope I use it a lot. hopefully my daily driver. The cab is small though.

my other toy car is a 65 ffr cobra. its topless and is fun but if the weather is not great it gets parked. My other toy car is a 64 falcon vert. its super clean original but needs suspension, fuel injection and brakes so its just a cruiser.

my current daily driver is a 2002 f250 diesel.

I may like building more than driving....

Not far from the original picture I followed a year ago. I kept it all black for now. I may change the bumpers later, not sure yet. The lack of chrome really makes the chrome on it pop. I had to prey the keys out of the Tire guy's hands.

I'd leave the bumpers black but maybe suck them in closer.
