Cool Reckoning

Truth

223 not enough go.
Drums not enough whoa.
3spds not enough gear.
370's too deep in the rear.
And 100 degrees demands some serious A/C blow.

" Summertime...."

Brett. Ever the life long, round the clock, defender of the arts, I am forced to ask you to post with a bit of caution. Look at what you have done to "Butch" and Mr4speed. On the other hand, all this just brings out the crusty side of Dick. I know you have been away on tour singing Summertime for weeks now but remember Fergy is up there keeping an eye on us. When the weather cools and fallout from this thread subsides, let's chat about next year's roundup (mentioned in another post) so that I can start working on getting my permission slip signed. Best. Himmelberg

OK, ixnay on the oupgray ughay (geez, I was just joking 4Spd!)...
Let's see, I don't know "Kum-by-ya" (words too complicated!). Hmmm, how about "Stairway to Heaven" (the acoustical version)?

LOL,
Daryl

Brett,
Uh oh, sounds as if you are maybe contemplating the dark side? He he, maybe this will help pull you back!

Words of a stocker.........

292, I'm not in a race
Drum brakes all 'round, I'll just leave enough space
4 speed trans, 1st is a granny
The ride's a bit rough, but the drive is uncanny
4.55 up front, 4.56 in the rear
It'll pull down a house in about any gear
AC would be great, hot days are a bear
But I do have vent windows, plus Left and Right air.

"sniffle Kum-by-ya" "kum-by-ya......" That was beautiful, reminds of the time legendary singer song writer, 'fenders wrote a piece. -4speed

(Thunder of fingersnaps cuttin' through the clove cigarette smoke. Thank Ya,Thank Ya very much....)

Sorry, I guess it was heat stroke after the umteenth 100 degree 2 hour traffic jam in a row takin' its toll.
"A/C.....just a wisp of cool air...please.....anybody.........HELP ME!!"

Yes, the pull to the dark side is strong.
Adios,
Brett
PS. 'berg, we'll start workin' on excuses ASAP. What are the little filly's interests?

Interests? Hmmm... she likes books. Is a fabric artist in her own right.... Queen of gardeners... created a little bit of eden here in the desert.... I like the way you think. Would like to get the truck healthy enough for a run from Midland to Austin and back. What's that 650- 700 miles? Working on it. Best. Himmelberg
