Excursion engine in f450?

Excursion engine in f450?
Hey guys, I am working on an 06 F450 (6.0L) for a friend of mine, and have concluded I will need to replace the engine due to bad scoring/wear on the #8 cylinder.
So I am looking for a good used 6.0 that won't break the bank, and came across this one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191474697325?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Question is are there any major differences between the 6.0l used in the EX vs those used in the F-series? From what I understand they were pretty much all the same (after '04), but just wanted confirmation from somebody who knows a little bit more about them... :-)
