I have a 1990 f250 with a 302. I did a lower intake job and when I put it back together I had no spark. I removed the spout and then I had spark. After removing the spout it still wouldn't start so I removed a spark plug and it was dry so im assuming the injectors arnt firing. The fuel pump does cycle. The ecm relay does click when the key is turned on. I have put another ecm in it and it still has the same issues. Is there something that I could've left unconnected? I checked the fusible links and none of them stretch. Any ideas?
That is a crazy problem. First thing is that the ECM must not be getting cam signal from the distributor. Is it possible than when you connected the distributor to the harness you bent a terminal or pushed it back?

I went out and looked and I couldn't get eye level enough with distributor to see all 6 pins, but I looked and the connector and the very top slot has a gouge right next to the connector slot like the pin got bent back. I looked up a diagram and the top pin is the pip so it makes sense right?

Yep, no PIP = no start. Sounds like you're onto something.

Thanks for mentioning that I went out and used my camera and put it in the distributer plugin and sure enough, pip pin is bent straight back
