i believe the 7.3 IDI as well as the early powerstroke(not totally sure on the early powerstroke) still use the same oil cooler so that opens you up for options.

6.9 and 7.3 idi are the same (for most years), I've looked at later year 7.3 PSD and they don't look the same.

correct, externally they look quite similar but the port/bolt pattern is not correct. If you have a 94 idi always ask for oil cooler gaskets for a 93 or older or theyll give you the wrong ones.

I have a oil cooler from my donor motor, it needs to be resealed but doesn't put coolant in oil or vice versa. Pm for price

if that's what you want to call it. I have heard it called a bunch of different things PC ECU tacu but yes they had computers the one that is in it is a E9TF-12B565-B1A it only controls a couple things one being the RPM gauge which mine will not work also I cannot run codes on the truck I pulled this computer out and tested how much resistance I got the on resistors and there is around 10 of them in it that I have no resistance

So this truck has been through a lot of different owners now looking into it it may have only had a computer because it wasn't automatic at one time? Do I still need the computer or can I bypass it now I am lost
