390 Blown up
I jsut fired my motor and broke it in....
I had the electric fan running, and I left the radiator drain cracked a bit, and a water hose constantly pumping water in the radiator (fresh cool water to keep heat down)
Well... it broke in fine, ran fine and everything...
BUT.... On the passenger side back of block it leaks a ibt of water.
What could it be. Its leaking like up by the head. I hope its not a head gasket.
But I wanted to check here before I tear it apart.

I used stock 4 barrel intake..
If its the intake gasket leaking Id be VERY surprised.
As its got the gaskets and a TON Of silicone...
I made sure it wouldn't leak.
I'll have to take it off to fix the head gasket (if thats the problem)
so I'll redo it also.
