Hi all
I have picked myself up a 1985 f350 dual cab im wondering if the rear seat has child restraint bolts anywhere the rear seat is one that folds down to a bed im wondering if there is a bolt on the floor or on the back wall that could be able to be used.
Thanks
Rod
The only thing that year truck would have as far as restraints are seat belts. Check the area for rust, rusty areas around seat belt fastening points make them useless. The seat belts are usually fastened in re-enforced areas in the floorboard.

I asked this question not too long ago. There is no bolts and obviously no latch. But if the seat belts and are good shape you won't have a problem. My son rides in his car seat back there everyday and it ain't going anywhere.

What cab are you talking about? Ford never called anything a dual cab. I think Toyota calls their crew cab a dual cab, but I didn't think '85 Ford crew cabs (four doors) had back seats that folded flat. So I'm thinking you're asking about a Super Cab (2 doors).

I know them as a dual cab but yes you are correct i think for call them a crew cab. Its a 4 door with a rear bench seat that lays flat like a futon bed. Hope that helps. Here in aus child restraints need a seat belt and an anchor point i might have to get one engineered to meet safety requirements.
Thanks

Child restraints attachment points weren't a thing until the late '90s/early '00s. This generation won't have anything. You could probably fab something, but would require a welder and some time. Points other than the OEM seat bolt locations are not strong enough to resist tearing in an accident.
