E4OD Converter Wont Lock

What I've tried/checked so far;
Connected a momentary switch to the TCC wire, right at the ECU connector, and the other end was connected to ground. When I press and release the switch, the converter locks and unlocks, so the wiring from the trans to the ecu connector is good. I programmed a chip to disable the 'brake input' just to see if it was getting some sort of erroneous input that would keep the converter from locking, and that didn't change anything either. I used my datalogger to see if the trans temp was getting high enough so the ecu could lock it, and it does. I also don't remember ever seeing it commanding the converter to lock, which would lead me to believe that something must be keeping the ecu from locking it. I don't have any LED bulbs installed and all of the lights work properly, even the hazard lights (switch) operates normally.

I'm using FAST XFI to run the engine and the factory ecu (and wiring) to run the transmission on my GEN 1 Lightning, and it all has been working great up until this point. I'm trying to get this fixed before I take it to the dyno, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

My SWAG* is that the factory PCM isn't seeing all the signals it needs to command the lockup. It needs engine speed, vehicle speed, throttle position, and a few others. Have you tried seeing if the factory PCM has any codes stored? It might tell you what's wrong.

The ecu is able to see throttle position and vehicle speed for all of the transmission functions. The only use for an rpm Input (for the transmission) is for WOT shifting. I've essentially diabled that from the beginning though because it doesn't get that input anymore.
The codes it gets are mainly emmissions related but those haven't affected the way the converter operates in the past.

No code, and my datalogger shows the tranmission does warm up to normal operating temp
