Ick a Chevy in a ford that just killed it
is the grille powder coated chrome? Stopped reading after the gay ifs and Chevy heart.

All he said about the grill that I've come across so far is that it is powdercoated and that the wheels are a shade darker.

I like the 69 grille too is there any place to get a new one?

The grilles are anodized aluminum, not chrome. The last Ford truck to come with a chrome steel grille was 1961.
FoMoCo:
D0TZ-17A862-A .. 1970/72 stone shield replaced
C7TZ-17A862-A .. 1967/69 stone shield.
But, you cannot use the 1967/69 stone shield on a 1970/72 with their original grilles as the portion for the parking lamps is not long enough.
