Pacemaker headers

Has anyone used Pacemaker headers on their 4.0 SOHC? I suppose it's the same for the smaller engines.
They're by far the cheapest headers I've seen and look better than some but they look a bit short.
I've always gone for the longer tuned length or interference type headers for the lower down grunt.

Any opinions?

I have had a few sets of pacesetter headers with no problems at all on various vehicles.
Never on a Ford V-6 though, I have edlebrock headers on my 2.8 v-6 and they have been great as well.

Pacesetters, bloody auto correct. I didn't notice, it was 3am when I posted.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to know specifically if pacesetter headers were an improvement power and or economy wise.
I can't tell by their design.

About two years ago I installed a Pacesetter header on my B2200. It seems to be very well made with nice bends, a thick head flange and fit very snugly to the block.
It did come with a low temp black paint and a warning that it's just a temporary coating that won't hold up to heat. I ended up getting mine Nickel plated, and it has worked well for me.

Thanks Beanscoot.

What I'm trying to figure out is if the designs that are available to fit the Ford V6 are useful or have they had to give away too much just so that they fit.
When you look at the V8 headers, they look bad but when you see the standard manifolds you realise anything would have to be an improvement.

BTW. There is a brand of header in Australia called "Pacemaker". They're pretty good but aren't made for Explorers.
