Arm rest?

Ah.. colored arm rests... Ya'll are just tooo fancy!
Seriously, if you're not intent on maintain the OEM look I'd looked into crafting some out of wood and trying your hand at upholstering it. Alternatively, fab it up in metal. Be creative.
.. I've seen bathtub grab bars used as armrests.

Wish I could remember where I ran across a supplier that had some variety in the color of arm rests offered.
I just went with the black ones from Carpenter (made in China). I did see someone who had some made in USA for about twice the price, but I had already purchased mine.
Since my replacement steering wheel is black and if I get a dash pad it will probably be black, the replacement flooring is black and the seatbelts are black you know it all blends.

... and if ya wanna get fancy, laminate three layers of different woods like mahogany, maple, and ebony, shape it to you liking, and then stain and clear it. Maybe even attach an upholstered pad on top to match the interior.

Thanks it took a little bit of cutting to get the handle pull cut out enough, but wasn't that bad. A padded top is the one thing I'd like to add. All in all probably took me an hour to make both sides(minus paint).
