I wanted to stop by and check in! I got back home in November and was ready to start on the truck again, but I couldn't move around in the garage! Way to much stuff! So I am adding on to my garage. That's where I have been.
My original garage is 24' wide and 26' deep. I added on 18'w x 26' deep.
Not done yet but it's not far from complete. The new addition will be strictly a storage shed for now. No insulation or electrical until a later date. Pictures will be posted before next week.
It's going to give me alot of room to work on the truck! I'm ready to get going again!
Welcome back. Now let see some progress on that truck. You may be surprised how fast that space fills up. But for now you'll have space to get after that truck.
For me, stuff builds up around the perimeter of the shop giving less and less working space as time goes on. I have learned ,or more correctly am learning to be some kind of floor ****, tossing stuff (usually other's) out in the woods behind the shop or in my bin that heads to scrap once a year. Junk is very sneaky stuff. I also try to pound nails in everywhere to hang stuff on. Congrats on the new space, now get a picture and get that truck finished up. The way time flies these days, good weather is right around the corner.
Glad you are back. I don't post much (almost never) but I am on FTE every day and I missed reading your comments. Look forward to photos of the addition and reading about what part of the truck project you are working on next.
