Recommendations for ordering weather stripping

I have an 86 F250 Diesel and, as you would expect, the weather stripping isn't in the greatest of shape. I have found that broncograveyard.com and dennis-carpenter.com both sell weather stripping and such. Anyone have recommendations on either of those (or other sites I should check)? I like the idea of getting a package of the stripping from bronco graveyard since I need to replace most of the stripping but the price difference between the sites makes me want to double check the quality.

I have used LMC for my 69 F100 and my 78 F250 bought weatherstripping window channels and even glass rubber for both vehicles. Great product and I did not have any issues with the product..except the doors shutting tighter then factory which I love the silence.

So given the love for LMC, should I expect their stuff to be better quality than bronco graveyard or dennis carpenter?

I personally have had COMPLETELY different experience with LMC. All the Crap I have gotten from them was just that CRAP.

Poor quality, Poor fitment, Poor finish.

I love my LMC catalog in the bathroom for one reason.

they are a LAST ditch effort for parts when i can not find them from any other vendor, used or I can't fix what I have. And then it will only go on a truck i am selling. I will NOT put their parts on any of my personal vehicles

I too have had bad luck with LMC. The fit was terrible on the tailgate weatherstripping. I have had better luck with Bronco graveyard for my vehicles

I have not used the others because the quality I received from LMC was good. I will say it seems as LMC is more expensive so keep that in mind.

i have had same experiences. their stuff sucks across the board.

ive said it once and ill say it again, people just have different standards of good stuff. to me and my personal standards of quality lmc does not fit that category

Man, always such a hassle on this kind of stuff! Given what everyone has said, I am going to try my luck with Bronco Graveyard.

As an addendum, anyone know what the chrome inserts are that they offer with their kits? I'll e-mail them and ask if no one knows.

This has generally been my experience with LMC products too......50% finished and/or 50% quality.

But recently I bought a Fairchild door/window seal kit from Rockauto - More Information for FAIRCHILD KF10018
which worked well, although it has taken a few weeks for the door seals to compress down, so the doors will close easier.

But the fit was good, wind noise/rattles are gone, & the windows wind smoothly.....major improvement.

Bronco graveyard is about half the price on the weather stripping.
