TUNE AND TURBO PROBLEMS

I have my 04 6.0L F-350 that I've done a bunch of work to, one thing was upgrading the turbo slightly with a powermax. the problem I'm having is with the tuning. I have been running the same tune from quick tricks for a while now, I've changed it a couple times for towing and it worked fine. I changed it again for snow plowing season and went to a 65 over tow tune and when I started it up... no spool from the turbo and only intermittent while driving, it will spool up while driving and then drop off again. I've tried a few things now, changed the tune, reset the computer, updated the tuner and nothing fixed it. I put the tune from quick tricks back on and everything works right again. when I had the tune off I checked gauges and they were all good but the EBP was high and VGT was stuck at 0.14 until it spooled for a second then dropped off to nothing. any ideas what I need to do?

the Only thing would be MAP clogged down at the Intake, the little threaded nipple , check MAP , EBP, and Baro. you said VGT was stuck does this do it all the time ? do you see on the Gauge koeo, low and High 2500 in park what's it do? Monitor the above posted in the test too

I already checked the MAP hose, nipple and EBP tube. the turbo would not spool at all and then out of no where at no particular speed or RPM it would kick in and wash all my power out of the motor then it would be off again. after I put the tune back on everything was back to normal. I tried different tunes and going back to stock, nothing worked except putting the quick tricks tune back on, I'm stumped....

I'm not a Tune guy ,but the Power max Turbo will need the extra juice to make for the best product, May need to call the Tune Manufacture and see if it compatible with Power max. need to be carful though some tunes aren't good for the tranny. one more Question have you check the Map Hose for splits even the CAC , you have four locations for Issues.

I've checked all of that yeah. I've used my other tunes before and they worked fine, but this time it was all screwed up no matter what tune I used, until I put it back to the first tune I was running. Now it runs fine but I don't want a performance tune for plowing..

Maf is tune air and fuel, Turbo boost is from MAP, EBP . it has been know that when Maf unhooked has done some weird things , Have you tried using Maf cleaner and look at the Connection. I'll see if I can find the PIDs for scan Gauge it may already be loaded. Oh also the Air filter box make sure its placed correctly at the bottom .

What is the PCM strategy on your truck?

You can pull it up with your tuner under vehicle information.

It should be VXBCXX.
