What is this?? makes horrible noise and down on power.

Some of us prefer to keep a converter for it's intended purpose...reduce emissions for better air quality. The "smog system" was a band aid fixe employed because of technology constraints in that time period. A modern converter is light years ahead of that, therefore the air injection is not required. But for those that want to breathe clean air a converter is still required and it is not the airflow bottleneck it used to be.

Some may refer to it as "being responsible for one's actions".

When I got the new cat I saw it had plugs in the smog line holes so that's why I thought about removing the smog stuff. But i'm just going to leave it all now.
