Afternoon ladies and gents, boys and girls, and anyone else. I'm starting to finally put parts onto my truck, it's a 56 F100. I've just placed a big order with Mid-Fifty, and like a *******, I've not ordered the cross head countersunk screws that hold the fresh air heater inlet to the side of the truck. These are the 4 screws that are visible on the passenger side louvered panel. They screw into a captive 'fast nut' on the vent inside of the truck.
I need to know what size thread they are as standard? I'm going to try and find some this side of the pond (UK). If I get no joy, I'll just pull the fastnuts out and nut and bolt it with something metric.
I appreciate your help in advance!
Hello Kevin, I'm still on the fence with the door panels! How's the leg now?
I don't know the answer to the original, the replacement part that Mid-Fifty sells has just arrived here, and it's a sleeve made from stitched vinyl, which wasn't quite what I was expecting! When I offer it up in the cab, I'll see how much gap there is and may do something a little better/ airtight.
