Intermittent start-fuel pump?
2000 f250 with 5.4. Only code pulled is for O2 sensor. Truck runs like a gem, only problem. Is getting it started. Will crank, crank and crank some more. Then all of a sudden, it fires. Put a fuel gauge on and it reads 30 psi with key on and while cranking (spec is 35-45 with key on) right before it starts, it spikes to 38 psi. Will drop back to 30 once running. Runs like a rapes ape, no hesitation-at all. Question is: think it's fuel pump, or regulator, or something else?
