Cowl Patch - text in next post
I have never done any body work. There are several places that have a patch for this area of my truck.
Is this a major patch that only a qualified body repairman should attempt?
When the fender is on this rusted area is not visible but there is a bolt at the lower edge of the fender that now does not have a place to attach to because of the rust.

It's a major patch, but not something that a capable person couldn't fix, even if they're not a professional bodyman. It would make it easier if you were, though. if you know someone who can walk you through it, or better yet do it for you, that would be even better. If you have good common sense and can see how it needs to go back together, you'll be fine. But if you're totally lost, best to seek professional help.
