Was there ever a custom trucks that shouldn't exist thread?

Go to any street rod or custom car show and you will see cars drastically changed from how they came out. Many, you are hard put to even tell what kinda car they started out as. I long ago came to the realization not one of those guys built those cars for me to like. They built them as a expression of what they liked. Some I like , some not so much, but most people don't have the talent to customize something and make it all come together. All of the trucks pictured took a lot of time and talent.

"One of the vw sites I belong to has an abortions thread. Maybe we start one here."
I am far from PC but do appreciate the family atmosphere here. Carry on with the " seemed like a good idea at the time" vehicles
I dont think that black truck is too bad, but putting modern noses on a classic is not what I would do!

For good or bad, the custom car is art. Just like there's a lot of famous painter's works you couldn't pay me to hang in my home, there's a lot of things I wouldn't want in my garage, either. But it's far from me to say what should or shouldn't exist. That's the beauty of living in the USofA. Freedom of expression, even if it doesn't appeal to the masses.

I personally don't like most customized trucks because is seems like most are conglomerations of rusty, crappy parts and are caller "rat rods" the trucks posted so far seem to have a lot of good quality work put into them. I don't personally like them, I wouldn't want to own one but at least it looks like the builders did more, a lot more, that cobble a bunch of rusty crap together. They did a lot of body work and applied paint to them. I have to give the builders credit for their work.
