Would anybody know of a brand or style of header that would fit on 350 chev in a 56 f100 with a volare clip and clear the steering box etc. Thanks

 

Mine were custom built by the P.O., they will be coming off in a couple of months when I put in my new LS2. If they don't have to use them in the new build they will be up for sale,since this seems to be a problem with most of us. Here's a few pics, L8R ZFLASH

 

I've been wondering the same thing but I suspect my truck will need a custom built set because I have the Cordoba IFS with the parallel torsion bars toward the rear so need to dodge the steering box and squeeze by the torsion bar.

 

They wont be able to use them on the LS series engine. They old small block headers wont
bolt onto the LS heads.

Might want to take a look at these, they look like they would be close.

Sanders headers model # cc17 or model # cc17-ap for angle plug heads

 

Nice pics Zflash. I am also building a 53. i did the mid 70s big ford clip on that one. The 56 had been done before about 25 years ago. I picked it up about 7 years ago and started the redo of lots of weird stuff. The headers being one of the things still left to redo. The 56 I keep complete enough to drive. I will look into those numbers gerrymoe. Thanks
