Fuel line problem
I just bought a 1992 F250 4X4 stick 460 with duel tanks. The truck had not been driven in over 5 years but has just 69,000 miles. The front gas tank was bone dry, the rear tank had gas. I filled up both tanks and got the front tank to prime and start working. My problem is that after a couple of hundred miles, the front tank bogs down the engine as if the fuel filter is clogged, but when I switch to the back tank, I get full power (same fuel filter). My guess is that the fuel line itself is semi blocked. Any ideas?

it sounds like the fuel pump in the front tank is dying.
i would suggest doing a fuel pressure test on both the front and the rear tanks. this will tell you if the pump is dying.
