Heater Control Cables

FTE Family,

Helping a friend with a 1987 F-350 rollback, which has been sitting for several years. Both A.C./heater cables are intact, but both having cracked plastic snap-in parts that attach to the control head. Cables are stiff, but the mode control and blend doors move freely. Do any of y'all know of a source for these cables? Rather than vacuum controls, the mode assembly is mechanicly controlled. The only vacuum-controlled part is the recirculating door.

I tried the Green Ford Parts website, but I do not have a part number. Thanks in advance,

Johnny

UPDATE

Okay, my local Ford dealer gave me the part numbers for the cables.

E7TZ-18552-A

E7TZ-18518-A

Sadly, they became obsolete this past October....

Spktyr,

Thanks for the links. For now, we have used a couple of hose clamps to hold the cables to he control head.
