Not a fan

K, folks seeing if any of you guys have had the fan stop working in your trucks, my heater was going great this morning walked out at lunch and the fan is not turning on? Any ideas?

either a blown fuse, (most likely) or a dead blower motor.

Well, it's not a fuse I just checked them how much money am I looking at for a blower motor anybody have any ideas?

The relay went on mine and the fan would only blow on the low setting. It was so faint I couldn't even tell it was on. I don't know if that's what you're experiencing?

Checked the fuses and they are all good gunna check with O'riparts today and see if they have a blower motor and how much $ it is. Are the blower motors all the same on f-series trucks from these years?

A lot of times you can tap on tbe fan and it will start working again.

Best way to guarantee you never need a part is to have a spare of that part.

Motor puked changing it out tomorrow. Do you guys have any pointers?

I throughly cleaned my fan to get ALL of the dirt off of it. I also drill a little hole in the motor bushing covers and pump in motor oil to super lube the bushings. It really helps to keep the motor quiet and it seams to move more air.
