fuel rails H.E.L.P.
Anybody HELP I have a 94 ranger 3.0 v6 I have a broken fuel rail and even the Ford motor company headquarters division of obsolete parts can't help me does any body know where I might find one . The truck runs perfect
it's like my Favorite toy broke and everybody says it can't be fixed .the part that is broke
im not sure what it is called it is a small tube located between the first injector (passenger side )and the pressure relief valve(?) that runs back into the throttle body yes checked several junk yards they all say 3.0 ltr engines from that year are in short supply even checked mazda the man at ford world HQ said the mazda b2300 had that style of fuel rail im getting ready to rip apart and try some steel tube and JB weld if you or any one who knows can locate some or has ANY ideas id b gratified dont want to ride the bus

Can you post a picture? The injector rail doesn't connect to the throttle body so I'm wondering if you have the right part. If it is indeed the fuel rail, you don't want to mess with JB weld. Springing a fuel leak could be rather inconvenient at the very least and dangerous at worst.
The fuel rail should have a schrader valve (almost looks like your tire stem but no rubber) and a fuel pressure regulator on it. There is a small tube that connects manifold vacuum to the regulator diaphragm. It's usually plastic with rubber fittings on the end.
The 3.0 was also used in the Aerostar and Taurus. See if your Ford parts guy can tell you if they all take the same part number and what years use the same part number. This will give you more options in the junkyard.
You might even be able to adapt the fuel rail (or whatever part you need) from another model with some minor changes. Sometimes, the differences in parts from different models can be easily worked around.

Broke a bolt on thermostat housing when removing bolt with vise grip pushed wiring harness into tube on rail under Schrader valve stupid I know but didn't realive it was plastic
