Weird Vibration

I have an 06 F150, with 120,000 miles, and on two separate instances now while driving home my truck has shook almost like when a wheel is unbalanced or the alignment is bad, which is not the case, it will stop shaking when I accelerate or decelerate, so the shake only occurs when I'm in idle or at a steady speed. If I stop and just turn it off then back on it will go away. This has only happened twice in the last like 3 months but if it's a potentially serious problem I would like to know soon. Anyone have any ideas?

I am assuming that the vibration "at Idle" means a dead stop. Therefore, not a drive train, suspension or brake issue. Do you have any codes? Sounds like it might be COP related.

That's what I was thinking that it was something computer. I have an edge programmer and I've suspected that to maybe be it but it's not at all consistent that's what confuses me.

Have you tried returning the ECM back to stock? Updating the Edge? Which Edge do you have? Can You monitor fuel delivery?
