Front Spring Replacement Question - F-350 Spring Code T4F
I checked the archives, but couldn't find a solid answer - so here goes.
I have a 1995 F-350 4x4 crew cab, long bed, single rear wheel truck with the PowerStroke 7.3 and the E4OD trans. My front springs have two leafs each and appear to be kind of tired after ~330,000 miles. The door sticker indicates that my spring code is T4F.
A local guy has a set of brand new front springs that are supposed to be for the F-350, but a look at the manufacturer's web site seems to show that there are two offerings for my year truck.

I think that answers that question. Oh well, if anyone in DFW wants to know where to get a brand new pair of the 2200lb springs for $80 (not $80 each, $80 for the pair) private message me.
have 96 model same truck. what did you end up doing? am somewhat interested in springs if you still have them. don't want front end higher than rear with heavier springs. not sure which to use....please let me know how what u did and how it turned out
Decided not to get these springs for the reasons Diesel_Brad gave, plus the fact that I'm going to be sticking a RanchHand style bumper on in a few months. Am looking for the higher rated springs instead.
ok that sounds reasonable. well do you know what the oem springs were rated at. just really enjoyed the ride and level truck with 4" rear blocks. also who can sell 2200 springs for $80 set...might be interested in that
ok thanks anyway. being a female with a truck in need of repair is not easy to find reputable mechanic. have had several different "must have" springs from different sellers online from 750#, 2200, 3468 and 43+ so more confused than ever since each tell me they are OEM replacement for my code. just trying to get same thing on there now. enjoy reading yalls posts....i'm sure they will help me to find the right choice eventually.

Further research after I created this thread says that the truck's original springs (assuming the T4F door sticker code) was somewhere in the vicinity of 2600lb springs - so the ~3000lb option would be the one to get to safely support the weight. The aftermarket seems to offer 2200 and 3000 only, not the precise ones to match the originals. Sadly, Ford OE springs seem to be prohibitively priced and the only other option than these two aftermarket types appears to be aftermarket lift springs - which I can't use because the truck won't fit in parking garages after that.
Have you considered swapping your springs to Super-Duty springs?
From what I hear, the swap isn't too difficult and there are companies that offer RSK's for the front to get an even better ride quality.

From what I recall reading, you are pretty much required to get an RSK to get SD springs to fit. Once you do that, you end up with about 3-4" of lift.
Here's the problem with that idea (for me):
My clearance lights already don't have a whole lot of margin in a lot of the older parking garages I have to park in. The above pics are with an ostensible 6' 11" overhead.
I *already* don't fit in this one except at the very entrance where there's little plumbing. Not a bad thought but sadly impractical for me.
