My 98 Navigator, when the problem first started the blinkers had trouble working properly I had to wiggle the arm a bit up and down sometimes it worked and sometimes didn't. Checked all fuses all are good. The Gator has 166k miles figured it was the whole control arm was worn. Replaced it with used from junk yard looked in good shape (same exact model arm), installed, blinkers worked perfect but wipers went crazy and could not stop even in off position, went back to junk yard to replace with another even better shape, installed - same problem! So now I'm thinking it could be computer related? I uninstalled control arm, I disconnected battery and all related fuses and relays to wiper system and connected everything back in hopes computer may reset issue but no success. There is no indicators on instrument panel either. I am lost. Any body experienced such a thing - ideas please? Much appreciate it!
The replacement unit however I grabbed from 2000 expedition not sure if that matters being that it was same model had same connections and functions as my original.
