Happy New Year to all, I have a question that I can't seem to get an answer to.
I have a 78 Ford 351W in my 52 Lincoln, it developed a Vacuum leak on the right bank of the intake where the choke block off plate in located, thought it was the block off plate but it wasn't. I pulled the intake manifold and found oil in the four "Pockets" in the heads where four of the intake bolt attach, it seems to me that there should not be oil there if the gasket was sealing. I forgot to mention that on a recent trip I took in that car, I had a problem with oil blowing out the dipstick tube. I've done a compression check and all cylinders were from 155 to 145 pounds, so I don't its a ring problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
