In 2015 I Plan To Use My Super Duty To .....

In 2015 I plan to use my super duty to do at least 6 camping trips with the spousal unit while towing the travel trailer. To do at least 4 road trips into the badlands or high country, sans spousal unit, fly fishing and exploring without the trailer (my bed and kitchen are in the shell). To drive the truck more and enjoy it!! Happy New Year!!

Drive, wash, dry, wax, admire... Repeat once/twice a month, more on sunny Sundays.

It will be interesting to see how the truck responds to Pike's Peak at an elevation of 14,115 feet, but not towing. It did well at a little over 12,000 feet last fall.

tow rv trailer toy hauler (maybe 5th wheel) with my new to me 2011 F350.

Funny how the rv salesmen always want to sell a heavy brute of a trailer but never do they mention that you need a special license endorsement or a class 1 to pull more than 10,000 lbs. I would have been illegal and likely w/o insurance as soon as I pulled off their lot if I had bought one!

Now have to go to driving school!

I tow my tt most weekends, planning on a Colorado trip this year, several cross country runs and I have got to haul my daughters car back fro m Arizona when she graduates from medical school and take it to wherever she ends up. My truck will get used as a tractor most of its life.

I tow my work trailers full of rigging gear to hospitals and imaging centers covering a territory from KS to WV, TX, to FL.

So, in 2015 I will make weekly trips to anywhere in that SE quadrant of the US with a couple guys and a trailer. The wifey and kids will hop in for a trip in the 5th wheel camper 3-5 times. It will add up to about 50,000-60,000 miles and 5,000 gal of diesel, 24 gallons of rotella T-6, 55 gallons of DEF, hopefully just 4 tires, a few gallons of washer fluid and of course wash and wax when I can.

Well, this is true in very few areas. Sorry you're in one of them!

As for using the truck, we will be towing an ark of a toyhauler, plowing when needed, towing my enclosed sled trailer, and hauling whatever is necessary....

I plan on pulling the txt to where ever the company sends me once it warms a bit. In the meantime drive it to a motel and back and forth to work or home. Might hook up the enclosed trailer and haul the bike somewhere ( most likely just ride it).

Sometime in late April, dig out the 5er, load the wife and both furry 'kids' and take off for parts Southerly for 2-3 weeks and well away from the tundra area we call home. Then. in May, move it up to our favorite CG on Lake Champlain for most of the summer. Come late August/early September and when the vacation traffic has reduced CGs and travel pain to a mere whimper, do our yearly long trip and in this case along the Canadian border and return by swinging South through CO, NM, AZ, TX and back up the East Coast. As mentioned above, I too would like to see how well this truck climbs Pike's Peak, hopefully as good as the ancient over carbed '79 F350 with a 460. Of course all that is not fully chiseled in stone yet, but is being considered.

Mine last summer did very well in the Rockies.
I didn't do pikes peak but did go over Monarch and Eisenhower tunnel running pretty darn heavy.

Did a lot in the Western most part of the state too. It will perform good.

Drag my sorry butt along with our fifth wheel toy hauler SOUTH for the winter...
It's -15f here now and probably won't make it above zero...
