I have a 86 F-250...I have been considering wanting to convert it to a dually..is that possible? is it just a matter of the correct wheels or do I have to change more....thanks for your help...this is a great site and has many knowledgeable people.

You have to also change the rear axle. Or you could go the cheap route and put on 3" spacers.

For the front you would need the factory cast dually hubs. Or again cheap out with 6" spacers

 

Those aftermarket spacers are not cheap by any means.
