After I put my bhaf on I got code P0113 and P1680 I read that P1680 will cause not to start most the time but mine always starts. There is a sensor on the factory air box I just unplugged that and set it aside is there something I should of done with it? Truck runs perfectly fine. No service lights on either
P1680 says Metering Oil Pump Failure. To my knowledge, the LPOP is not on the OBDII port, nor is it referred to a a metering oil pump (as far as I know), and if it failed - the HEUI injectors couldn't get the oil to run. The HPOP is not referred to as a metering oil pump. Unless there's a component in there I've never heard of, it sounds like one of those stray codes that show up over time. Clearing that code and watching for a repeat would be in order.
P1680 isn't a valid code on a 7.3. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume the OP meant P1670, EF signal feedback signal not detected, which will cause a no start if it's an actual code and not a phantom code induced by cranking with low battery voltage, etc.
Ya it is the p1670 code. And I'm not sure how it could be low battery voltage considering batteries are a month old. Could cycling glow plugs case the batteries to drain enough to throw that code.
It cleared it last night. Haven't had time to check yet today. It was really cold last night an this am. It took a little to get it started. I'll check to later and let you guys know if it came back.
