Trailer right turn / stop not working

Not working at plug.
I see there is right turn/stop relay.
Does this relay ever go bad?
All other trailer lights work.

Check the fuse for that light first. Look it up in your owner's manual.

Do you have the trailer ball on the hitch ball? Did the truck come with a trailer tow package? The reason I ask is you could have a grounding issue.

I was typing on iPad and its painfully slow so i'll elaborate more here

i had some trailer work done

went to pick up...hooked up and kicked on lights and flashers

everything was good except for right rear turn only

i inquired...they brought out their battery thing and hooked up trailer to it

kicked on running lights and left and right turn then brake

all functioned properly

then he had a plug he hooked up to my truck with lights...it showed right rear stop/turn not working

i looked and only found one fuse for the trailer stop/turn and two relays (one for each side)

I'm going to try switching the relays to see if problem migrates or stays put

never knew if these relays ever went out

I know my 04 Ranger has separate fuses for the right and left turn signals. Do you have an owners manual that lists all of the fuses with their location?

Okay.

Can you feel each relay click (fingertip) with the left and right turn signals? If not, the problem is between the SJB and the relay box, assuming the truck's signals work correctly.

Did you swap the relays? Did it change anything? If the problem swapped sides, it's a bad relay. If not, it's a wiring issue somewhere between F34, the relay socket, and the rear trailer adapter outlet. Corrosion in some of the connectors in the rear of the truck has been known to be a problem.
