Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home.
Sport / Outdoor / Home Show not too bad. Got to see what a $750 fresh water light-medium fishing pole looks like. Also saw several $350 to $450 poles. For the life of me I don't see where the money is or who would pay those prices. I didn't even like they felt or balanced let alone the price.
One booth there had some very nice poles, reels and tackle for very reasonable prices. Going to go out tomorrow with some money and pickup a couple of Aurora Borealis spinners and some other spinners that have a very reasonable price to them. A shop from Florence has a level wind, brand new in factory packaging for $40.00 that I usually see for $90 to $110 and I just may bring that home as well.
Outside of that they had a couple of $35,000.00 Artic Fox Campers along with 5th wheelers and a few Class A's. Not a bad little show this year, but all in all, still pretty small with advertised "great deals" that aren't so terribly great.
