I noticed that Kat's '04 XL is a Six-Oh! Hope that there isn't a good share of maintenance in the future there.

Or has it already been done? APR head studs, aftermarket EGR cooler, oil cooler, coolant filter added, etc? The FTE Six-Oh! forum here knows far better than I do about these things.

Well, gas is up to $3 a gallon again, so the F-250 and camper is looking less likely, maybe a drive-by in the T-bird?

I have the motorhome here if you guys want to stay in it Dave. Just saying....

We are getting gouged here, $2.91 as I speak.........Who knows how high by summer?

Have to worry about the cam follower roller bearings dropping into the oil pan and migrating up into the oil pump, injection pump, and pressure regulator.

It's a $1.07 per liter here and you think you're being gouged? multiply that by 4.5 and your $2.91 looks pretty good to me

It has 165,000 on it. My dad and buddy think all that stuff was most likely fixed already. Aside from being the usual cold blooded, I have not had any issues with it, had it since June. It appears to have been well taken care of.

Afternoon all. That would be nice, otherwise its about 4 grand to do. My was closer to 7 grand, but I had the heads rebuilt also.

If it does that I get a new truck lol. My love is my 78, the 04 is just a nice truck to drive, but I am not really attached to it.

Evening gang, just in from a ride; went out to Post Or. Round trip of about 60 miles. It was almost 70* out here!!
