Driving down the road truck just dies pull over shut it off switch it on takes 10 to purge the spits and sputters then starts just changed standpipes and dummyplugs what do I do?
what year? any codes? does it start right away and then die? long crank? did you change the turbo stand pipe, oil stand pipe or fuel stand pipe? air in the fuel system? air in the oil system? ficm voltage? bubble test at the secondary housing?

It's an 04 f250 6.0 changed the oil standpipes now it has a long crank. When It starts it runs fine drive a little then it dies
Only 37 miles since you finished the job? It might be possible the oil system is purging air which would cause the engine to run like crap........just a thought??
Well I changed fuel filters and fuel pump no change. Decided to change my oil see if that helps. Drained 6 gallons of oil. Oil had a lot of diesal in it so no I get to change injector orings. Yay me

I assume you changed the dummy plugs too. Please confirm.
What is you mileage? 04s Hpop go bad. Air test to confirm.
Need live data on hpop to know.
All the potential problem listed in the post above are also possible. Need some sensor data to narrow or down to prevent throwing parts at it. If you have a droid device, for $25 you can read the data. Apple cost a little more.
the torquing of the injectors, imho, is crucial. If you don't get an injector tight enough you end up with a lot of fuel in the crank case and possibly hydrolocking your engine. for this reason it is also equally important to replace the o-rings and copper washer each and every time you pull an injector. this does not help with your original concern because an injector wont normally cause a 6.0 to die. a failing ficm will for sure. an injector that has failed bad enough to allow exhaust gasses to enter the fuel system will...have you done the bubble test? When these were new we used to pull the fuel lines off of the secondary filter housing and secure water balloons on the ends of the lines. crank the engine over and watch to see if the balloon inflated! If you don't have access to a sophisticated test device, this method will still work. We used to just replace all the injectors on that one bank that the balloon inflated on. Now, I would recommend replace all 8 injectors because of crossover scoring. Sorry I haven't read the tech files so I don't know if these procedures are explained in there. I will expand just a bit more here and you can see if it fits in with what is happening to your truck. You start off and it runs normally. May run good for a few minutes, may run good for a while, but slowly, one by one you can feel a miss that progressively gets worse (almost as if one bank of injectors is shutting off one by one, because that is what is happening) and then when enough injectors have shut off the engine can't keep its self running. sometimes you get that weird sewing machine tick/tack noise as the now dry pintle inside the injector is hammering its self to death. One injector has allowed exhaust gasses from the exhaust stroke to enter into the fuel system. Off idle the exhaust gasses are able to aerate the fuel enough to cause the vehicle to shut down.
