99 expedition
Hello forum,
I have read all the post for no frt heat but none really match my symptoms so, without wanting to be re-dun dint, here goes.
99 expedition with 5.4 I have no heat or a/c in the front. The blower motor is working correctly. It only blowers ambient temp air all the time, cold in winter and warm in summer. I do not know if a/c compressor is working. The vehicle belongs to my 91 year old father. He has taking it to a mechanic. The mec. suggested taking to dealer, and told him it was some switch. Not sure what switch trying to find that out now, but blend door would not stop a/c from working, would it? any advice would be great. Yes the rear is working normal and it is NOT climate control, just normal rotary *****. yes both heater hoses at firewall are hot to the touch. no smell of antifreeze, no signs of leaking on floor.
