I have the Hellwig and it made a big difference. Would still like to get the RAS for towing and some 1.5" shackles for the rear of the front springs. Did you buy it in Billings?

The X I got out of Omaha NE over the internet--its presented some challenges-backup system not working, overhead display, rear fan resistor, rust I didn't know about etc.
If you know where Hays is-150 miles N of Billings-you know that there is NOTHING out here. Just to find and buy one was interesting--I sold my 2011 Overland-it was boring believe it or not. Everybody has Jeeps plus they are made by Chrysler which is inherently evil.

I ordered the RAS online. Think shipping was free and very fast. If you put it on-don't get hung up like I did. On mine, the rear shackle looked like it was closer than it should have been toward the rear mount. It turned out to be OK for the bar to go across the shackle. In videos it shows the rear shackle closer to the axle and the roadmaster bar has clearance between it and the shackle--ie doesn't lay on top of it. So far it has been fine. This is all abstract at this point but when you start putting it on it will make sense. Watch the youtube video-it helps. What they do NOT show you or hardly mention is that you jack up the X under the rear diff until tires are clear-then place jack stands under the front mounts for the springs and THEN lower your hydraulic jack to where it just barely supports the diff so it stretches out the springs. To me it was scary having the monster supported by 2 jack stands, tires off and the jack just barely supporting the rear end. I kept worrying about what happens if the jack seals fail. I did not have a 3rd jack stand at the time. If I had I would have put it just out of contact with the rear hitch receiver.Anyway-it worked out fine

It's been awhile since I've been through Hays. Thanks for the install tips for the RAS. I'll try to do that this spring. Mine took awhile to find, i found mine in Chicago in 2004, practically new and way below book. The dealership had no idea on what they had at the time
